About Ian S. Topf

Ian S. Topf was admitted to the State Bar of Missouri in 1996 and to the State Bar of California in 2000. He was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for southern California in 2000.

Ian's professional career includes previous service as an intern for the Northern California Legal Services program, assisting in the development of a guardianship clinical program, the first of its kind in California. While in law school, Ian volunteered at the Domestic violence Clinic for Mid-Missouri Legal Services Corporation where he represented underprivileged clients in civil litigation, primarily in the area of domestic relations. He also served on statewide committees, promoting legal services and other pro bono programs.

In 2000, Ian worked as a Contact Counsel in San Diego, focusing on child support matters, for the San Diego District Attorney's office. He later served in a general practice law firm representing clients in a wide range of cases, including family law matters, general civil litigation and criminal defense.
